Blogmas Day 18 - This might actually be working
Yesterday I rounded up all the posts that I’ve enjoyed writing so far on this blog. And in order to do that, I had to skim through the whole backlog. While doing so, I discovered two things:
- Having a record of what you were thinking at a certain point in time is really enlightening.
- Despite what it may feel like, you do get better the more you practice.
Number two might be the most obvious and oldest concept known to man, but I’m a visual learner so until I looked back at where I started, it was damn near impossible for me to consider a world where I was actually improving at this writing thing.The good news is now that I have real proof that the whole ‘practice makes perfect’ thing is a real phenomenon, I’m ready to keep leveling up. Not perfect, but better.
